Shirley Maclaine's book

Yes, I have read it. When it came out in May 2000 I read the reviews and
decided that it was not worth reading because of the many reference to past
lives, etc. After I completed the Camino, then I wanted to read it to see
how she referred to the places we both visited. I was particularly
interested in Foncebadon and the "pack of wild dogs."
I admired her courage and determination to do 20 miles a day, avoid the
press, etc.
