physical vs mental

Group members planning to do their first camino often express concern
about the physical difficulties of the pilgrimage. As a septuagenarian,
I didn't really find the physical part that much of a problem. Oh, I had
plenty of aches and pains, but not really much more than I would have
had just staying at home. Coping with mental stress was much harder.
With apologies to Alan Jay Lerner, I have to say that the strain in
Spain falls mainly on the brain.

regards,

Bob
