The most essential items you must remember to pack are:
The things that I packed that I really did not need
were: WARM CLOTHES, BUT I WAS LUCKY, I MISSED THE SNOW ON
THE MOUNTAIN PASSES THE WEEK AFTER I WAS THERE.
I wish that I had brought: MAPS OF THE CAMINO
If I had only one book to suggest about the camino it

The most memorable pilgrim I met on the road was AN AIDS
ACTIVIST AND ARTIST FROM GREAT BRITAIN.
Most memorable stretch of the camino was: FIRST DAY
WHEN I GOT LOST AND GOT WAY OFF TRACK.
I kept track of my journey via journal, camera, tape
recorder etc: PAPER JOURNAL, EMAIL JOURNAL, AND CAMERA
When I arrived in Santiago de Compostela I . MET MOST OF
THE PEOPLE THAT I HAD MET AND WALKED WITH ON THE TRAIL.
Now that I'm home when I think about the experience I AM
STILL REALIZING WHAT I LEARNED ON THE PILGRIMAGE, SOME BIG
THINGS, SOME LITTLE THINGS. FOR EXAMPLE, IN HINDSIGHT, I
LEARNED TO ASK FOR HELP AND DIRECTIONS WHEN I NEEDED HELP.
DO NOT HESITATE TO TAKE A DAY OFF. ONE OF MY BEST DAYS ON
THE CAMINO WAS THE DAY THAT I DID NOT WALK AT ALL, BUT SAW
THE PALM SUNDAY PROCESSIONS IN ASTORGA.
