Dear Go-Camino-ers:
I've been ill for a few days and, online today, I see that for some people the
list serve has gotten off course once again.
Allow me to underscore here:

The ethos of this listserve "Gocamino" is to discuss pilgrimage and only
pilgrimage-related issues, mostly specifically focussing on the pilgrimage to
Santiago de Compostela.
In a gentle tone of voice.

I'm asking all Gocamino-ers to remember these two basic tenets of this
listserve. It's not that we have our heads in the sand nor that we don't care
about other issues. Instead, it is that Gocamino is meant to focus on a
specific issue and to fill the messages with details germane to life but not
germane to this listserve's goals are inappropriate.

Commentaries on issues or topics that are _not_ about the pilgrimage to
Compostela are not appropriate to the list.
Over-heated, over-wrought, over-the-top language and emotions are _not_
appropriate to this list.

There are many many other fora /forums where these discussions not only take
place, but are widely welcome. I encourage you to discuss any matters not
about the pilgrimage to Compostela privately or on the other fora.

Please understand that in order to allow Gocamino to continue helping and
serving researchers and pilgrims of Compostela, I will remove those persons
who do not use Gocamino appropriately.
