Rae,

I wore Capilene (2 short sleeve, v-neck) from Patagonia for the entire
pilgrimage and they wear fantastic!  I washed them everyday and never saw a
worn thread or seam.  They were also very soft under my pack and kept me dry
and cool.  They were both Mid-weight and I loved them.  I highly recommend
them!  I also used a microfiber fleece jacket from Patagonia for the portion
around Cebreiro - kept me nice and warm.  Although under an unbreathable
poncho, it got stuffy.  Hope this helps!
