Can't answer about the differences, I do belong to Santiagobis and there are
some of the same people in that virtual refugio.  Actually, just to confuse
things a bit more you can also join through yahoo groups Camino lists in
Portugese and Spanish.  When you start a list on yahoo groups (anyone can)
you give a brief description of the groups purpose.  You might want to take a
look at those.
