In St. Domingo de Silos I purchased a book on wild and medicinal herbs in Spain. There were also other titles relating to the natural order. The books were not published by the monks, so I am sure these and similar books can be found in book stores, and perhaps on the web.

The Tienda Verde in Madrid, two shops, specializes in military and other maps, as well as information about hikes in Spain as well as wild life and fauna.
