Dear Gene....and group,

I've received many emails personally and some from the list, thank-you all for your kind welcome.  As my journey unfolds from now until the time I leave I hope to gain insight through this forum.  I know it will be definately informative and look forward to the interaction.  As in jazz I believe discussion is a form of improvisation and becomes a co-creative process between souls. 

Gene, I'm interested in your friend's name, the jazzer.  Is he a member of this listserve?  Does he have a website?  Anything you could tell me about his relationship between spirituality and the creative process would be wonderful.

  I walked a portion of the camino last year with my closest friend who also happens to be a professional jazz composer and singer, although he plays the guitar and not the piano. Don't know about the wisdom part, but I think you will find this forum interesting and informative.
