Kiss of peace

Hi Bernard,
In Spanish-speaking countries a handshake and a smile will do when exchanging
peace wishes at Mass.  Actual kisses are only exchanged between family
members or very close friends.  Attempting to kiss someone not close, even in
such context, may be offensive.... most particularly, attempting to kiss
women.  I should most definitely not  try it.
The actual words are not important..... just let a smile convey your desire
that the person whose hand you are shaking will enjoy peace on earth.
