Security in the Camino

Sorry you found the discussion irritating.  All I wanted to do is pass along
my personal observations to someone planning to go on the Camino.  I live in
NYC and agree with you that crime in the US is more prevalent than in Spain.
However, I don't think we should be dishonest and trivialize the risks of
traveling anywhere.  My advice is meant to be supportive rather than alarming
for potential travelers to Spain.
