Yes, the woman with the children in the pram on the Camino is Danish. Her name is Tina. She's a runner and the pram, or cart, is designed so she can push it ahead of her while she runs. She was taking two months to spend on the Camino with the children, both girls, age 2 and 4. She uses the cart to carry both the children and all the necessities, so she doesn't have to carry a rucksack. I asked her what she did when the track was difficult, and muddy, as in the area leading into Zubiri. She said other pilgrims help her maneuver the cart in those situations. The refugios where I saw her accommodated her special needs -- she and the girls usually slept on the floor or in an area set aside for them. The children seemed to be enjoying themselves, and Tina was not a bit daunted by any of the logistics; i.e., cold, rain, wind, or heat, or even full refugios. She took it all in stride. I really admired her. And, she said her husband was fine about the whole thing. He couldn't go because of his work. These are some of the amazing people one meets on the Camino.

There was a woman with two small children on the Camino in May. We saw her
off and on and we spent one night in the same refuge. I believe
it was El Burgo Ranero which is the last time we saw her. I think she was
Dutch. I believe the children were around 2 to 4. It was quite something!
