Didn't quite make it...with my back pack

Friends,
IMHO there is only one way to have a backpack and that is try it.
My Camino experience was the first serious backpacking thing I ever did ( I
do not like walking)
So try it first.
What I did, was GO to a good outdoor/tracking store and have a look around.
I "tasted" several, for price, fitting ( comfort) and color It should be
red, for it stands out in the green thought the photographer and if I will
fall over somewhere they'll find me easier...( I thought)
I narrowed it down to three backpacks.
I asked the salesman to have them numbered I closed my eyes and I tried them
again, not troubled by color, looks, and preferences.
So I came out with my perfect backpack and never had "ANY"  complaint !
I know the infrastructure in the USA will be different to our her in small
Holland, but if you find the opp to try this in this way, you'll be all
right
And. check for this padded hip things, They're great !
