Open fires

This question might brand me a bushwhacking Aussie, but I do like my brew in
the middle of the morning.  Is it possible to light a little fire to boil up
a billy of water on the path?  Incidentally, from what I read about the
eucalyptus in Galacia, it should be possible to get the real bush flavour in
a pot of tea that you get from throwing in a gum leaf at the end!
