order, order! million or not?

Look folks, some of us are really curious about whether there's any evidence
about the "million" claims, some of us aren't. For some it's pointless
(heretical, even?), for others it's a topic worthy of consideration. For
myself, I've learned a lot in this discussion.

Every internet forum has topics of interest to some people and of no interest
to others. My experience has been that a clear subject line (in this case, the
word "million" seems our common ground) makes it simple for those not
interested to by-pass what doesn't interest them, no muss no fuss.

I'm not sure what the problem is here. With great respect, I'm asking that
those of us interested in this topic be allowed to carry on a civil discussion
without being told we're out of line. (We may have reached the natural end of
the thread anyway, but let's not set a precedent for future topics by cutting
it off so ungraciously.)
