I should hope that the Santiago "tattoos" are meaningfully,   indelibly and
lovingly inside of a pilgrim's heart.  A  whole body's  surface  pierced
with
needles and ink trying to capture such an ineffable sentiment  would only be
a spiritual oxymoron, I think.
