It had been set up to redirect that way and worked fine for several years.<br>

I thought that the problem might be a recent upgrade of Firefox to<br>


version 149.0 that no longer likes the way mailman-2 handles https: POST.<br>


But the only older Firefox version I had readily available (147) worked the same<br>


way, so it's probably something I did to the Apache configuration.<br>

Anyway, it's running now without redirect to https:   <br>


Non-member postings will just be subject to the usual finite delay of when<br>


I get notice that they need to be approved, and act upon it.<br>
