The only purpose of the reference to 7.24.1.3 was to show that in similar cases (where one function is described as equivalent to another function) a Returns section is provided for both functions. We support US42-169 and adding a Returns section (similar to nextafter) as proposed in the comment. I suggest we remove “Similar 7.24.1.3 has a Returns section” from our response to the comment and just say:<div><div><br></div><div>US 42-169 </div><div>Add the Returns paragraph as suggested.</div></div><div><br></div><div>- Jim Thomas</div><div><br></div><div><div><div><br><blockquote type="cite"><div>On Jan 27, 2023, at 9:52 AM, Rajan Bhakta <rbhakta@us.ibm.com> wrote:</div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"><div><meta charset="UTF-8"><ul type="disc" style="margin-bottom: 0in; caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration: none; margin-top: 0in;"><li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin: 0in; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">US42-169: We listed “Similar 7.24.1.3 has …” but that section does not seem similar at all.
