Hi Damian,

I’m not sure. I would not say so in general since I would consider ilogb as a floating-point function, but it does not return a floating-point result (returns an integer).

Subject: [EXTERNAL] [cfp-interest 3827] floating-point function = function returning a floating point result

Are the above two terms synonymous?

Likewise

function that delivers a floating point result == floating-point function

Thanks - Damian
