Not really.  Non-member postings always are delayed for moderator
approval, so anybody that plans to post more than once or twice might
as well join, to avoid the delay.

It's easy to unjoin, too, when you're gone,
unlike many commercial outfits that believe they
are entitled to lifetime income if you make the mistake of signing up once.
But that's a rant for another forum!
