Hi Paul,

CFP looked at this. We don’t know of any standard for bfloat16 function names. We don’t have a studied recommendation. “_bf16" was one suggestion. The “h” prefix idea goes against the style of ilogb, lrint, llround, etc. which uses a prefix to indicate a return type that differs from the parameter type indicated by the suffix.
