No need. Already covered as Clause#1 alread says
For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions given
in ISO/IEC 2382, ISO 80000-2, and the following apply.
ISO-80000-2 already defines |x| as either absolute value, magnitude or
modulus. So I figured I am safe using |x| for absolute value.
I note that both ceil and floor are also defined there as well so their
appearance in Section 3 may be a duplication. I think I might leave that.
There are still a lot of unanswered questions.
