I assume that if that there is no hardware augmented operations,
then there is no hardware roundTiesToZero rounding mode.
(as is true for existing hardware (as far as I know)).
If I had access to hardware roundTiesToZero rounding mode,
then that makes a software implementation of the augmented
operations easy.
So, yes, I would like access to roundTiesToZero rounding mode.
But, I do not expect it to be there.
